Chamber Dorheim
Chamber Dorheim believes that, after a relationship ends, people are still family—just in a different form.
She approaches her cases in a way that preserves that family connection where possible.

Chamber has practiced family law in Oregon for more than 14 years (since 2005). She enjoys the varied challenges that family law brings. One day she might be helping people come up with a good plan for their children and the next she might be creatively resolving financial issues. Her practice includes divorce, separation, child custody, restraining orders, and modifications of support and visitation.

Chamber joined Gresham Family & Bankruptcy Law in June 2019. She began her legal career as a judicial clerk for Judge Maureen McKnight with the Multnomah County Family Court.
She then built her family law experience representing clients at St. Andrew Legal Clinic and at Kivel & Howard law firm. Through her work in the courtroom and in private practice, she made strong connections with judges, attorneys, and other professionals in the family law community.
She credits her legal clinic experience with making her mindful of whether a strategy is likely to be cost effective.
Chamber and her family make their home in Portland. In her free time, she enjoys playing cello and piano, trail running, and baking.

“The glory of justice and the majesty of law are created not just by the Constitution – nor by the courts – nor by the officers of the law – nor by the lawyers – but by the men and women who constitute our society – who are the protectors of the law as they are themselves protected by the law.”
